Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and the day after that is Black Friday. In five days it’ll be Cyber Monday.
Tomorrow we know that most Americans will get together with family and friends and they’ll happily spend that time...looking at their phones.
In between moments of checking email, social media posts, and the latest shopping deals, people might talk to each other.
Perhaps they’ll discuss the impeachment hearings, the upcoming election, and our changing climate.
Yeah...climate change. The young millennials are all about climate change and stopping global warming.
It’s funny how hypocritical they are.
Not a single one of them could go a day without using their phone, and boy...phones are a big part of global warming, in both their manufacture and their distribution.
Phones are also a leading way the Chinese communists can keep pushing their people down, and how they can enslave tens of thousands in concentration camps: phone production helps their economy, keeps the fat-cats at the top nice and rich.
When many of us are done looking at our phones at our various get-togethers, we might go shopping.
Tons of stores are opening tomorrow around 6 PM, places like Walmart and Best Buy and Target and a ton more.
I feel sorry for the people that have to work at those places tomorrow, or at 5 or 6 AM on Friday.
Capitalism at its worst.
I’m sure Black Friday will be one for the record books. Lots of people are doing well right now, and anyone who wants to work can find a job or two or three.
Cyber Monday will be huge. I’d rather sit at home and shop than brave the tumultuous crowds that will be out, not to mention the traffic headaches.
Perhaps you’re the same way.
If so, please consider using one of these links to get to Amazon:

If you do that, I get a small commission based on your total order. Just one small way to support this site...if you want to.
And speaking of this site, I’ll probably be slowing down for most of the holiday season.
There isn’t a lot to write about at the moment, and I personally don’t want to discuss impeachment or the 2020 candidates, either nationally or here in Montana.
I’m just not excited about anyone that’s running in any race, anywhere in the country. I think a lot of people feel the same way.
So have a good holiday season, and please...try putting the phone away for a few hours.
