It’s all this staying at home, not moving.
I never did a fit bit, step-counter thinga-majig.
Was pretty popular there for awhile...to take a thousand steps a day or more.
Back when I was working, I’m sure I took more than that.
Seems like a lifetime ago now...work.
I haven’t worked in 22 days.
I miss it.
Millions do. Hell, take the world into account...billions do.
But what can you do? If ever there was a situation to remind us how powerless we are, well...this is it.
What can we do...what can we possibly-fucking-do?
Nothing.
Oh, we can bitch at our wife and snap at our kids and rail against the government and go out on the porch each night and yell, ‘I’m as mad as hell and I’m not gonna take it anymore’...but what good does it do?
We’re just going to wake up tomorrow to the same circumstances.
Same shit, different day.
Those Democrats
It’s been 110 days since Pete Talbot promised me he’d sue me.
110 days.
Seems like a lifetime ago, way back in December.
Pete not only damaged his own credibility with that baseless threat...he damaged the credibility of Democrats across Montana.
With Pete’s words, we know that Democrats can dish it out, but they can’t take it.

And by God, if you have the audacity to challenge Dem bloggers - and the talent to make it hurt - they’ll threaten you.
I’ve been on the receiving end of their threats for over five years now. Never had I been threatened with a lawsuit until December, however.

Pete never followed through with that.
He’s a coward. Always has been...hiding behind the safety of his friends' website.
And what a friend.
Despite having nearly 100 different people donating nearly $800 a month to that site...Don Pogreba can’t get a decent photo.
This latest attempt at a computer selfie? C’mon - just hire a professional photographer!
But that would take confidence.
Confidence is something neither Don nor Pete have. They’ll argue it...but one threatens to sue you if you question his ideas, and the other changes his social media photos and deletes his Twitter account if you question his past selfie photos.
Thank God these are the people that Montana Democrats have chosen to take the lead, to get the word out...to make the attacks.
Thank God this is the only site Dem candidates in Montana can go to.
They have nothing else.
MT Post, yep...you guessed it - two insecure, incompetent, and downright laughable people.
They actually take themselves seriously. What's more, they think they're winning.
If that wasn't enough, they actually think that if they get anonymous commenters on their blog, this will translate into victory at the ballot box.
Let us keep them thinking this for as long as we possibly can, and believe me, with people like this in charge, it shouldn't be hard.
And if that wasn’t enough, I believe Don is now taking over the defunct Cowgirl Blog twitter account.
The blog was shut down over a year ago, the once-most-popular blog in the state.
Anonymous. That's who Dems want getting their word out - a nameless figure.
Now it no longer exists.
Hung up the ol’ hat.
Gave up.
Just couldn’t hack it anymore.
Remember, this was the top site for Montana Democrats for the better part of a decade.
All it brought them was failure, so much so that they had to silently shut it down.
What a Party.
So here’s a site that’s dormant since late-2018 and then it’s social media suddenly comes back to life in February...why?
And who has the reins?
Who cares?
Some new guy from out-of-state, arrive just in time for this election cycle?
That’ll save ‘em, oh yeah.
Perhaps they’ll even get a new logo to replace the old:

The Other Guys
The other day I was wondering to myself, ‘Why doesn’t the GOP take a lot of their money and make a website devoted to ridiculing and lambasting and lampooning the Montana Democrats?’
But I quickly realized the answer: Who would care?
No one.
Maybe a bunch of partisans on Facebook, but besides that…?
No one.
It’s why we only see Democrats - mostly paid-staffers - playing around on social media all day.
Republicans don’t waste their time and money on that...why should they?
What good does it do?
Nothing for them...and the big reason is they're so old and so out-of-touch.
Most don't know the state, because they only recently relocated here. Like Missoula, with Vondene and her son. Two California transplants. The son is so incompetent he still lives with mommy...a 35-year-old.
Wanna be like Mike?
MT GOP is the same way. Sucking up to has-beens, like Racicot.
We saw that clearly when a relative of the former governor had a ski accident. All the current GOP politicians couldn't stop falling over themselves, saying how bad they felt.
What a load of BS.

Marc Racicot was a nobody. Only reason he was anybody was because of daddy, back up there in Libby.

Once Marc was done with school, daddy took a coaching job with Carroll. That's how poor the family was.
Marc would have done anything to rise through the ranks, and he did. Sold out Libby; sold out Montana.
But those are stories for another day.
Suffice it to say, the current MT GOP sucks up to the legacy of Racicot...both because they think they have to (nothing could be further from the truth) and they believe in that legacy.
The legacy?
Oh, you know...get a good ol' Montana home town boy, promise him the world, find his secrets, exploit them, make him an offer he can't refuse, and watch the money roll in.
I've written seven books on the history of Montana, and I don't think we've ever had a governor come to office without first stealing from the poor to give to the rich to get their position.
Tale as old as time.

Those Fucking Celebs
Let's digress.
I’m glad we’re realizing that celebrities are losers.
Just look at them...in their rich homes, at their kitchen tables, talking to us on their Skype.
Their makeup artists have stayed home, that’s obvious.
Politicians are in the same boat - looking like shit, pretending not to with their stupid background photos and plant displays.
We’re sick of it.
We’re sick of these people lording it over us, sharing $20 to see their latest jerk-off-fest, which will just come out on DVD or streaming service in 3 months anyway.
As a society, we’re done with these imbeciles.
Most of them are smart enough to know this, so they’re saving their sanctimonious crap for another day.
Hopefully that day will never come.
Grasping
Dems are grasping at straws right now.
The election is shot. If you weren’t a front-runner before the shut-down, you won’t be.
Whitney is done - she no longer has an avenue to reach the public. The local media will not talk about the election at all before primary ballots go out in the mail in about 30 days.
She’s done, but she never had a chance anyways.
She’s a lonely person, with no one in her life. She surrounds herself with possessions, only because they’re more comfortable than money. Both leave her empty.
All of the images she’s shared, and all the images taken of her, point to this - a sad, middle-aged woman that thinks if she just wins office, it’ll fill that void in her life.
Nothing could be further from the truth.

Mike Cooney’s a different kind of sadness, the kind we see at the end of the hallway at the end of the week...when everyone else is going home to be with family, but there’s that one guy that has none, so stays late...all the time.
That’s Mike Cooney.
Reminds me a lot of Bob Dole - he’s always been there...but no one’s noticed. If he was suddenly gone, no one would notice.
Unremarkable.
At least he’s not Joe Biden. Mike Cooney still has his mind. He’s 65 - Biden is 77.
I actually think Sleepy Joe is more exciting than Cooney.
Cooney is paying thousands of dollars a month to people to keep him on message...whatever that is.
Biden is paying millions to his people to do the same...but Biden is so senile and so into-his-dementia that he says the most interesting things.
Cooney and ‘interesting’ have never been in the same room together.

Italy's death toll is going down.
Not as many are dying in America as we thought.
The models are not right; the virus is leaving us. Will there be hell to pay for those that ruined millions of lives? I doubt it.
