Democrats hate Greg Gianforte. They always will.
There’s no point in Gianforte catering to Democrats. In fact, he might as well just oppose whatever they want. Even if he gave them a few things, they’d still hate him.
So let’s give up on the popularity contests, alright?
Just be who you are, and to hell with ‘em.
Like the talk that there’s no town halls and no public schedule and that Gianforte is trying to avoid voters.
A bunch of people getting paid to send out tweets all day?
Good. Let them grind their teeth.
For those of us that still have our sanity, let’s focus on where Greg is.
Mostly, it’s here in Montana and in D.C.
You can tell this pretty quickly. Greg has a representative page and then another page for his gubernatorial run.
I checked those out and found these images I’d like to share.
GG also has videos on his Facebook page.
- On October 17 he posted a video of himself addressing Congress, speaking about yet another missing Native American young woman.
- On October 19 he put up a video of himself addressing Congress, speaking in favor of his bill to rename the Missoula post office after Jeanette Rankin.
Jeez...I thought Republicans were supposed to hate women, and Indians?!? What the hell is he doing honoring Rankin and talking about tribes?
Guess that's just Democratic propaganda.
More from his Facebook page last week:
“I recently wrapped up my 2019 tour of our state’s 56 counties. Traveling to every corner of Montana, sitting down face-to-face with folks, and listening to their concerns is the only way I know to do the job. I look forward to continuing to crisscross the state and meeting with Montanans where they live, work, and raise their families.”
I think Gianforte likes going around the state and listening to people, hearing their concerns and the problems they face.
He’s been doing it for nearly 5 years now. It’ll be nice for him to take a break from that in January 2021. He’ll be able to sit down behind that governor’s desk in Helena, where he can stay and work. I think he’ll still travel around a lot, though.
He likes people.
Now, to the opposition.
Tim Fox is feeling very threatened by Gianforte. In fact, when you type in “Greg Gianforte Montana” into Google, the #1 result that comes up is a paid listing called “Greg Gianforte Failed | Not a Conservative”
Tim Fox paid for that. Fox is already playing defense. Gianforte just has to ignore him while continuing to talk about the issues. Fox is too busy attacking to talk about the issues. It’s the same problem Dems have nationally - they have no issues, just attacks. There is no path to victory with this strategy.
