Around the state, the election situation remained foggy as well.
It’s currently 8:30 AM and only 78.2% of Montana votes have been counted.
148 precincts around the state do not have their full results in yet.
Why?
Why this incompetence…or is it fraud?
Elections officials will have us believe it’s them doing a good job, making sure things are right.
Well, why can some counties get the job done but others can’t?
It smells funny to me.
From 2 AM when I stopped writing to now, it looks like Bullock has pulled ahead by about 12,000 votes.
When I went to bed it was 70 votes.
Isn’t that convenient for Dems? Maybe too convenient.
Other than that we know that every other Montana statewide office was lost to the Dems.
How’d that happen?
Simple – the Democratic message isn’t resonating in Montana.
How many times do I have to say that before the old guard Democrats in control of Montana realize that?
I don’t think they want to realize it.
They want to keep losing.
It’s very sad, and it’s extremely frustrating.
One race in particular makes me think of why they’re losing.
It’s HD 96 and Dems were supposed to keep that. They didn’t, and I can’t help but think those negative, outside mailers turned voters off from the Democrat incumbent.
People like Nancy Keenan and Jon Tester are to blame for this, if you ask me.
They love the dark, D.C-tainted money.
Alas, it doesn’t work.
Tester should be quite happy with a Trump victory – he might win again in 2018 as we get the off-year backlash.
Until then, Trump has both houses of Congress to pass his agenda.
There is absolutely no reason to sign up for Obamacare – that train wreck is done.
Over on Cowturd today we have has-been Jim Nelson asking why Trump won.
He wonders if it’s because we “get our news from media that sensationalizes” instead of “dispassionately reporting.”
Look no further than Cowturd for what he’s talking about.
Nelson wonders if we “can survive another 227 years” as a country.
Meanwhile, all those forecasts that the Dow would go down by 800 points were unfounded.
The Dow actually went up today.
So much for the scare tactics from the liberal media, eh?
They want you to be afraid, however – it’s easier to control you that way.
Over at Flathead Memo we hear about the incompetence of Hillary.
Her campaign was so bad that it “confirmed for many Americans that the Democratic Party considers the white working class deplorable bigots who are, and should be, second class Americans.”
I’m so glad that Hillary will go no further than the history books at this point.
America will be better for it.
James Connner thinks that “every program that helps the middle class and poor” is now “in jeopardy.”
I don’t buy that. I think Trump will be one of the best presidents this country has ever seen.
I hope he’s another Andrew Jackson, someone with backbone that’ll stick it to the international bankers.
Since I’m not afraid of working to make money, I’m not worried about all those social programs that Conner thinks are going to disappear.
We thought the Dow would disappear today as well, didn’t we?
Again, the fear that guides our lives – let’s end that shit please, alright?
In regard to Zinke, I think we see how utterly ineffective Don Pogreba’s Intelligent Discontent blog is.
How many anti-Zinke posts did he put up, with the congressman photo-shopped to look like the cowardly lion?
I guess that strategy didn’t work, huh?
I fully expect him to continue in the same vein, however, as I expect Montana Democrats.
They just can’t seem to see that their ideas and their tactics don’t work.
Well, if they get that governor’s seat back it won’t matter – they’ll think of themselves as winners.
So much for Schweitzer winning in 2020 – Montanans aren’t going to be electing a Democrat to that office in 4 years.
Perhaps Schweitzer will go for the U.S. House when Zinke makes the jump against Tester.
Again, with the off-year and Trump in the White House, that’ll be a tough go for Zinke.
Looking at a few other things, we again see how ineffective the Democratic mouthpieces are.
Trapping was not banned, as the anonymous writers that guide Montana Democrats wanted.
They also didn’t see Marcy’s Law go down to defeat like they wanted. Thankfully we don’t have to pay $20 million for brain research.
Oh, and the pot shops will be opening again soon. I’m quite happy about that…though everyone will have to go and get a new doctor’s appointment now.
No word from loser Jeff Essman on what he thinks of this yet. I hope he just shuts the fuck up. A good look in the eye ought to do that – I don’t think he has any backbone at all, just the desire to rob sick and dying people of their medicine.
What a loser, and Dems couldn’t even find a viable candidate to run against him.
Again, the incompetence of the Montana Democratic Party.
Denise Juneau is done in politics.
She couldn’t do it, she won’t have her cushy cabinet position.
Please, someone stop Gail Gutsche from running for PSC again too – do we want a third loss by her to Bob Lake?
Last night was her second loss. Maybe we should have had Sweeney in that slot.
Over in PSC #3 we see that Pat Noonan and Independent Caron Cooper both went down.
I’m so happy that Northwestern Energy-hack Noonan will not be representing us on the PSC.
Imagine the cozy relationship he’d have had with the company he was supposed to regulate.
Besides that…what else is there to talk about?
If we’re lucky a lot of those out-of-state ringers that were brought in to spam #mtpol all the time will now go back to whatever hole Montana Democrats dragged them out of.
A good place to look for results with interactive Montana county maps is on Politico.
I’m now seeing at 9 AM that the AP is calling the governor’s race for Bullock.
I’m very disappointed in that.
At least it’ll be interesting to see the legislature talk about all his scandals.
I fully expect we’ll have more shady business from him, more affairs, and more ignoring the rural areas.
Don’t expect infrastructure, either – we know he has a closed-door policy on that.
Perhaps that loser Nancy Keenan will even be allowed to keep her job now. That’ll ensure Dems continue to lose in areas outside the city.
She has no vision.
And then we get Pitt and Hyers, Bullock’s two East Coast lackeys.
I was hoping for a loss for those two, but oh well – they’ll go back to their wandering ways, acting as hired-guns for whoever will pay their salaries.
Their loyalty is simple – money.
Money didn’t quite do it for Hillary.
It’s time Democrats look at their strategy of raising tons of dark money and Wall Street money.
It didn’t work.
Like I’ve said, however, I fully expect they’ll continue to embrace that strategy.
They don’t know what else to do.
I mean, it’s not like they’ll embrace majorities in this country, they’ll just cling to their minorities.
And they’ll lose.
It’s just a sad, sad Party.
