“Their defense lawyers argued that the parents were simply playing by the rules of a rigged system…”
The college admissions scandal strikes again.
Private equity baron John Wilson used to be a CEO at Staples. All that money didn’t help him raise good kids.
His kids are so worthless that he paid $1 million to get his twin daughters into Harvard and Stanford, and $220,000 to get his son a spot on the USC’s water polo team.
Now he’s probably going to go to prison for 5 years, out in 2.5 for good behavior (and likely a lot sooner if he starts throwing his money around again). Let’s hope he gets it up the ass, repeatedly.
People like John Wilson are exactly what’s wrong with this country.
Some kids work their ass off to get ahead, but then rich kids have daddy pay their way to jump in front of the line.
It makes me sick.
But this is America, and this is how we want it. If we didn’t want it this way, we’d change it. But it’s a lot easier to crack open that six-pack and let the cable-TV wash all over us.
God, we’re pathetic.
- California Cora - $469,000
- On-the-GOP-Staff Tranel - $244,000
- Hide-the-Bishop, Laurie - $117,000
None of the GOPers bothered to put their fundraising totals out by the legal deadline. Zinke, it seems, doesn’t even live in Montana. He’s a full-time California resident.
Smart people would stop donating to these silly women and would start putting their money into figuring out how to prove Zinke isn’t a Montana resident.
That’s the only way someone besides Zinke could ever win.
None of these women have a chance. They’re just going through the necessary motions to eventually become the executive director of the Montana Democratic Party, or the head of Carol’s List...nothing more.
Who are Americans?
- 82% of us don’t go to church
- 77% don’t exercise
- 71% are overweight
- 45% of us divorce
- 40% are obese
We watch eight hours of TV a day, read fewer than seven books a year, and our attention spans are less than that of a goldfish (8 seconds).
We’re the greatest country in the world; the best people the world has ever seen.
A month or so ago Texas got rid of abortion. Three days ago, an appeals court overturned that. Then yesterday, a higher court overturned that.
Now what? Well, it seems to me that a U.S. Supreme Court battle is brewing. I hope they overturn Roe v. Wade, kicking it back down to each individual state to decide.
Montana would of course outlaw abortion, as would most neighboring states. I suspect most of the blue states will keep it legal. That means you’d likely have to drive to Spokane to kill your baby.
What a hassle!
Over 5 years ago on this site, we had an article called Why’d She Get Pregnant? Back then, it was a Texas court ruling that got our discussion started, much as it is today.
God, how the left hated it.
Why? Because we had the audacity to look at the facts.
- 40% of abortions happen because of money, or lack thereof
- 36% because the timing is bad
- 31% because of a partner issue
- 29% because they have too many kids already
- 20% because it’ll interfere with future opportunities
Over 73,000 American women get an abortion each year simply because they’re not “independent or mature enough.”
But they were independent and mature enough to to take off their clothes and let a man fuck them.
They just don’t want to deal with the consequences. They sure as shit don’t want to drive all the way to Spokane.
We’ve killed over 61 million babies since 1972 via abortion. Rabid, lonely and angry women all over this country are taking to the streets to ensure that the right to kill babies will never be taken away from them.
20% of Americans have a mental health disorder.
That goes up to 50% if you’re a white woman under 30.
