Since it’s no secret that Eric Stern operates MT Cowturd, I went ahead and called him up.
His phone number at work is 444-2087.
He picked up very quickly, unlike most Montana offices I’ve called.
I told him my name and that I have a site called Big Sky Words and asked him why Cowturd has gone 7 days without a post.
He said he’d like to know as well.
Oh, that’s cute.
Then he dropped out of the conversation by saying he’d call me back.
Yep, I’m still waiting.
Now, I have to admit…there’s a new post up on Cowturd today, one going after Caron Cooper.
I guess this went up after my phone call.
Yes, Democrats seem to be engaged in quite the bloodbath with this post here.
I really need to hit up the microfiche and see if it compares to the bloodbath of ’79 and ’80.
Anyways, it seems the anonymous posters at Cowturd are going after Cooper because she had a fundraiser at Nels Swandel’s home.
As you may know, Swandel is a Republican.
So Cowturd is now calling Cooper an “independent” with quotes and it won’t be much longer until the sharper knives come out.
Hey, Caron – I know all about this.
I can understand why you’re raising funds anyway you can as well – you get no support from Democrats and you’ll probably never get any again.
That’s the way the Party is these days.
They have to look out for their own, Caron, like Helena Cabal member Pat Noonan.
He’ll rub Bullock’s back and that’s about all that’s looked for in a statewide candidate these days.
Now Cowturd is wondering “whether Caron will even denounce his racist views" in regard to Swandel.
Finally we’re advised that if we’re seriously “considering voting for a spoiler candidate like Cooper,” we should educate ourselves on Swandel’s “nutty antics” first.
So I think we can be fairly confident that Pat Noonan will not be a PSC commissioner and that Roger Koopman will keep his seat.
Oh how that rubs MT Democrats the wrong way, hence the post today.
You have to understand the level of animosity and resentment that an anonymous shit-slinger website like Cowturd brings about.
I always call it Cowturd and not Cowgirl as I have absolutely no respect for it and feel others shouldn’t as well.
But they do.
You’ll notice on that post that’s been up for a week – conveniently dealing with guns, a favorite of foaming-at-the-mouth Dems – has 1,548 Facebook likes on it.
Oh, if only those would translate to votes in November!
Maybe they will, and we know where – in the cities and other safe zones where they’re not really needed.
I’m sure a few people reading and liking live out in the boonies, maybe in heavily red areas where the mention of Cowturd might get you a few uncomfortable stares.
Yeah, most likely people wouldn’t know what the hell you’re talking about as only the diehards and political hangers-on read that site.
Nonetheless, we know it creates animosity and resentment because we’ve seen numerous articles from GOP-leaning sources telling us this.
Honestly, how long can you shout and call people names – all while not having the balls to use your real name – and expect to get away with it?
Forever, I guess…though with the 7 day break we’ve had, who knows?
Hence my call to Stern today.
He's always listed as the site's writer, and we know from comments on my site a couple days ago that he's way on the outs with Dems.
Come the January shuffle, he'll be out of a job.
I’ve said it many times before – the site is using more named-writers to get over this hurdle of anonymity and the problems it brings.
Despite that, my…those articles are boring.
It’s because Montana Democrats are boring.
Even when they have an exciting opportunity – like the cluster fuck down in Billings over SD 25 – they put up the most boring candidates for that seat.
Why should I care about this process, those people, or what they ‘say’ they can do for me?
More often than not I feel those people are only trying to do as much for themselves as they can, to hell with me and you.
MT Cowturd creates the animosity and resentment that fuels the passion and anger that the GOP are using – indeed, thriving upon – in order to get the job done.
What job is that?
Taking back the state.
Already today we see on Logicosity that the Senate might well be veto-proof while the House could be there in a couple years.
Gosh, when you look at it like that, MT Cowturd is one of the biggest helps to Montana Republicans in years!
My how it motivates them and pulls them together, strengthening the bonds between the diehards and making the moderates question their stance.
From Cowturd’s perspective, the site's content has the hardliners on the run and the moderates gaining footholds that they’ll later use to create some kind of GOP-Dem utopia that works for all (or at least those earning taxpayer money).
Perhaps that perspective is correct, but if so…why are the rural areas encroaching upon the urban city districts more and more…and winning or coming so close that we know in a year or two they will be GOP?
How’d that happen?
It’s best not to ask these questions, as Montana Democrats do not want to go back into the recent past to find answers.
When people go looking, shit gets dug up.
We can’t have that now, can we?
