Inflation.
Bare shelves.
Worker shortages.
Staggering debt.
This country’s falling apart all around us. Everyone can see it. So what do our future ‘leaders’ do? They raise money to benefit themselves, and the small coterie of political hangers-on that leech off ‘em.
How’s the money game going for these rich fucks that care nothing about you?
- Zinke: $794,000
- Maryland Matt: $776,000
- California Cora: $469,000
- Dr. Al: $300,000
- Tranel: $244,000
- Bishop: $116,000
- Ballard: $22,000
Now let’s break it down into the two districts.
- Maryland Matt: $776,000
- Ballard: $22,000
- Zinke: $794,000
- California Cora: $469,000
- Dr. Al: $300,000
- Tranel: $244,000
- Bishop: $116,000
Technically, only Ballard is running for District 1, as Rosendale has yet to file to retain his seat. At least according to Ballotpedia.
I’m surprised California Cora has raised so much, but we know that 27% of her money comes from California alone, and I suspect most of the rest is coming from out of state.
Why would Montanans give to that woman?
Why would hard-working, 9-to-5 folks give their earnings to that woman, who recently transplanted herself here from California just to run for office?
Montanans can see right through her.
She knows it. That’s why she needs to raise as much money as she can. What will she do with it? Hand it off to her cronies in the political money game.
She’s already doing so. All of her expenditures so far this cycle have gone to D.C., Pennsylvania, and California.
She doesn’t care about Montana, or Montanans. She doesn’t care about creating jobs here. If she did, she’d put her money where her mouth is.
This is Californa Cora’s game, just like it was the last time she ran. Back then, she gave most of her money to outfits in Florida, West Virginia, and New York.
I think the only person that has an inkling of care for Montana is Dr. Al. He’s a rarity in politics today - someone that doesn’t give up.
And what does he get for that dedication to our country and our state? Mockery and ridicule.
As the country is falling apart before our very eyes, these charlatans running for Congress are raising substantially more money than most Montanans make in a decade, perhaps in a lifetime.
These candidates are so divorced from reality, it’s not even funny.
I don’t know why we put up with this. But we do. The only thing more pathetic than these candidates is us.
