We haven’t barbequed once this year.
So it might not make sense why I went to Walmart today and bought 4 big bags of charcoal, plus 4 things of lighter fluid.
Might not make sense...unless you know what’s coming.
They didn’t know it was coming in Texas.
But in February 2021, it came...with a vengeance.
Over 4.5 million homes lost power. Over 200 people died.
Greatest country in the world, and one of the strongest and most proudest states in the union.
Brought right to their knees.
We’ll all get a little taste of Texas this winter. It’s obvious, for anyone that wants to see it. Most don’t.
They have no idea what’s coming, nor do they want to know. They’ll be the first to fall.
I’m over 4 weeks into my beans and rice regime. I notice I’m not as hungry anymore. It makes sense - it takes just 4 weeks to shrink your stomach.
Beans and rice…a lot cheaper than gastric bypass. It’s just the most don’t have the self-discipline, the control...the will.
They’ll wish they had it.
I suspect the serious outages will happen in January/February, the peak demand time. But let’s be honest - California and other climate-change-woke states will see outages much sooner.
This will cause citizens with means to flee those states, coming to red states, and overburdening their power systems.
One day without power? I think most people will be fine.
Two days? That’s when people will begin to get on edge.
Three days? That’s when the guns will come out and the killing in the streets will begin.
A week?
Are you fucking kidding me? This country will tear itself apart.
I’d say 99% of this country has no idea what’s coming.
