How could the GOP be so stupid?
I suppose one way to get rid of ignorance is to read books, but really, these are the titles you choose?
Again, I’m not sure this 2015 GOP summer reading list is accurate, but I feel it needs to be reported anyways, just so you’re aware of the mentality we’re up against.
So without further ado, I give you the top books that Republicans are reading this year.
The GOP Summer Reading List for 2015
Many think that Republicans have an image problem. Many times people think they’re cooky, archaic, or just plain weird. Sometimes people even have the gall to bring that up in conversation.
When that happens, GOPers that have read this book will have awesome rebuttals just waiting to let fly.
How come I can’t do this? How come I pay and you don’t? How come what I used to get for free now costs money?
It drives you crazy, but with a book like Everything I Want to Do is Illegal you’ll have shoot-downs ready for any flaming liberals, food-stamp junkies, or unwed mothers that might come your way. Farmers often bitch and moan as well, but with the arguments in this book you’ll convince them to get on the federal dole. Shuts them the hell up every time.
Women Work Harder is one that most GOPers will want to give to their secretaries, or administrative assistants if you use that newfangled term. It makes it clear that men are lazy and deserve to be at home with their lack of education, perhaps playing Nintendo all day. It’s all in this book, and your on the job woman will appreciate it.
While there may be some guilt involved in that, this book will quickly fill your head with justifications. Oh, and if you’re having problems with arguments against Big Pharma (we all know how much you’re invested in those stocks) this book shoots that fluff down too.
Let’s face it, we don’t need another incident in a bathroom stall, or happenings with boys on the wrestling team, or dalliances with interns who end up in the park dead. Hmm, maybe that last one was a Democrat.
It’s so hard to keep it all straight these days, in more ways than one. If you’re one that has these thoughts, then Everyone Has Kinda Weird Sexual Thoughts is for you.
What’s the bare minimum pay? How much do I need to bribe ICE? What are the rules for household help?
It’s not always easy to answer these questions, even with the boys at the country club. That’s why What Foreigners Need to Know about America from A to Z is your indispensable resource. The updated edition has a whole new chapter on maids, as well as an index of field picker pay charts.
This book will give you lots of insight into killing debate, ending free speech, and distracting people with cat pictures and puppy videos (trust us, it works!). A Short History of Stupid is just the book you need to bamboozle your way to the top.
10 Stupid Things Women do to Mess Up Their Lives will finally give you all the answers you’ve been waiting for, for even the silliest of actions.
Worried they might chastise you for thinking Adam was riding dinosaurs? Don’t worry, those bases are covered very early on in this book. Other highlights include Revelation sing-alongs and religious accounting practices.
Beat them to the get-go by teaching your kids about nuclear radiation early, and how we can all learn to live with it. That’s why Dead Whales Can’t Wave Back has been on the bestseller lists for years now.
Anybody Can be Cool…But Awesome Takes Practice is just the book for you. Written for a high school election audience, the book has actually caught fire with state legislators (if you’ve been to an ALEC meeting, you probably know why). Stop pretending and starting being – this book is a must read for young Republicans! (Log-cabin Republican version is available).
To learn the wide-variety of stupid that exists in America, get Unusually Stupid Americans. Note: No Republicans were harmed during the writing of this book.
Since then Republicans all over America have come to learn that You Mean I’m Not Lazy, Stupid or Crazy has great advice in a liberal-media dominated world.
Break up that monotony with The Nuclear War Fun Book. There are a wide variety of activies that don’t take much in the way of supplies. What supplies they do require are already on your designated list. Start having some fun down there!
If you’re concerned about America, then make sure you educate yourself. Republicans are likely reading these books, and the knowledge they learn within could be the difference between a D and an R in office.
As a nation, can we afford that?
