Today MT Cowgirl has a post up complaining about Elsie Arntzen.
This has become a fashionable thing for Democrats in Montana to do at the moment – complain about a race they lost nearly 3 months ago now.
I guess they’re starting to realize that they should have paid more attention to it.
Alas, Bullock had to defeat Gianforte. That meant none of the other races mattered, and we saw that quite clearly in November.
So now we have lots of posts decrying Arntzen and her policies.
A new one was up today, and I even tried to leave a comment on it.
Well, that didn’t work – I’m still banned from the site, a ban that’s been in place for more than a year now.
Yes, the Montana Democratic Party is scared shitless of what I might say.
It’s why they ban me from their blogs, block me on social media, and create fake social media accounts to drown me out.
All because I post my thoughts on this website.
Scares the shit out of ‘em.

Anyways, I went back to page 6 of MT Cowgirl’s old posts, which takes us to September 15.
That’s more than 75 old posts.
- There’s lots of stuff on Juras, lots on Gianforte, and a bit on the Cooper/Noonan race.
- We get lots on Trump and Taylor Rose.
- Nowhere, however, do I see anything on the OPI race.
Nope, not one fucking sentence.
Now, I mainly just looked at the headlines and the short blurb on those 75 old posts, but I didn’t see a single one that discussed either Arntzen or Romano.
On the other Dem site, Intelligent Discontent, I didn’t see much on those two women either.
And now both sites are complaining about the media and voters and whatever else will take the attention away from the fact that they and the Dem establishment in the state never really thought Romano had a chance in the first place.
The only one that was written off more than Romano was Larry Jent.
Shame on you for giving up before the election!
Don’t rub my face in it, or the faces of other Montanans that got out and voted as you wanted us to.
It’s not our problem. It’s yours.
The Montana Democratic Party is totally screwed up at the moment. Or did the 2016 election somehow not make that clear?
To readers of MT Cowgirl, probably not.
So to answer the question, “why are Montana Democrats complaining about OPI?” I’d have to say the reason is simple:
To make us forget that they never gave a damn about the race in the first place, something they’re now coming to regret.
Yeah, the regrets of the Montana Democratic Party’s establishment.
They make the decisions, we have to live with ‘em.
Sucks, doesn’t it?
But not to worry – MT Cowgirl/boy will have a new post up soon, one telling us that it’s perfectly alright to feel sorry for ourselves.
There’s always next year, after all, and with the same playbook and cast of characters, what could go wrong?
Why, nothing, of course! Absolutely nothing.
