Bob Menendez is a New Jersey Senator.
He just had a mistrial over his corruption. We don’t know if he’ll face another trial over his corruption. He was originally charged with 12 counts of corruption.
What we do know is that Bob Menendez gave Jon Tester $10,000 back in March.
Could some of that money been the same money that Menendez received for granting favors?
Possibly…probably…does it matter?
Like we asked last time we discussed Senator Tester’s corruption…why are senators giving each other money?
Last time it was Al Franken giving Tester $25,000. That’s more than many Montanans make in a year. For our corrupt millionaire senator from Shelby, however, it’s just another day on the job.
And what a job it is!
Over the past 5 years, Tester has taken:
- $741,000 from the securities and investment industry
- $679,000 from lawyers
- $59,000 from Goldman Sachs
- $46,000 from Citigroup
Sometimes we wonder why Washington doesn’t really work for us, or see to our problems.
I’m not sure why we wonder, as the answer is obvious.
Washington doesn’t work for regular Americans – it works for the corporations and industries that pay it.
Jon Tester is one of their main guys.
