A few days after the election, some embittered Republican here in Missoula put a Shawn Knopp for mayor sign up on a busy boulevard.
That’s illegal.
But what are you gonna do about it?
I guess you could file a complaint with the Commissioner of Political Practices Office in Helena.
Since it is headed up by a Democrat, you might see some action...in a week or two...or three (or never).
I simply won’t wait that long.
Now, I could go and rip that sign up and throw it to the ground in a fit of rage, perhaps feeling good about myself for a moment or two.
But what would that accomplish...what message would it send?
No, I want the person that put up that sign to take it down, or even a nearby homeowner. Someone...anyone. I'm tired of seeing this shit.
What is the fastest way to accomplish that?
Well, I think I have the answer.
I put one of my extra Trump bumper stickers on that sign.
“Drain the Swamp. Make America Great Again. Trump 2020.”
I have feeling that sign will be gone tonight.
