I was surprised Kathleen Williams is taking another run at US House. I was hoping she would run for PSC. It will seal another lost for the democrats in this office guess they will be going for another decade of loses. Because she now has name recognition and runs on ID politics she will easily win the democrat primary. If Gianforte runs again she will lose even worse then in 2016. If Rosendahl is the GOP candidate it may be closer as he is such a terrible candidate but he is a loyal Trumper so you can except the President to make an appearance for him. Could it get much worse with 3 multi-millionaires running our state and representing us in DC. Gianforte as governor,Rosendahl in Congress and Daines in the Senate. I surely hope I am wrong but no one credible has stepped up to run against Daines. The democrats no bench really has come back to bite them. With no veto sitting in the governors chair in 2021 ever right wing wacko bill will become law.

That's what happens when one of the two major political parties in the state doesn't have good leaders for years and years. We know what they spend their money on, and it's not to get Dems elected; it's to keep the current Dem HQ staff happy.

A long time friend of mine who now lives in Florida who has been a lifetime democrat not only in votes but in giving money to the party called me today. He spend years in government service and lived in several states. He was telling me in his 80 unit condo,many residents that winter there are from the mid-west. They were democrats that voted for Trump. He said many of the former democrat voters would not vote for any of the present 17 democrats running as they don't represent the democrat party they have known. Many said as much as they dislike what Trumps says they will at present vote again for him because the democrats still don't understand middle America. My friend said many dislike the attention the press continues to give AOC for having done nothing but run her mouth. They don't understand how party leadership continue to allow her to be the face of the democrat party just handling Trump another term. My friend said many of these people thought the democrats would do something to get them back in the party but they feel like they are no longer wanted there. We both grew up in a democrat county that now is solid red. Our children and their friends in their 30's are all republicans. My friend and I both think Tester will be the last democrat elected to federal and state office for a decade or more in Montana. Leave a Reply. |
