We learned on January 6 that Tim Crowe would be leaving his position as communications director for Governor Bullock “to take a position with the Montana National Guard.”
Currently Tim Crowe is listed as the Director of Public Affairs at Montana National Guard...according to his LinkedIn profile.
As far back as 2009 he was the public relations officer for the Montana National Guard. In 2013 he was listed as communications officer for them.
On Facebook it appears he’s no longer with the National Guard, as it says “worked at.”
Past tense. And the past is the problem, so I’m hearing.
The big issue is pay.
We know that Crowe began working in the governor’s office on October 13, 2015.
He stopped working in the governor’s office on January 6, 2017.
So that’s about 14 months.
Was Tim Crowe being paid by both the governor’s office and the federal government at the same time?
I’m hearing that yes, Crowe was illegally paid a federal salary while working in the governor's office.
I also hear that the National Guard Inspector General is currently investigating.
Just more corruption in the Capitol. You’ve seen how many staffers are jumping ship. What the hell’s going on in the Governor’s Office, anyways?
