Winter Sets In on Ch-paa-qn (Squaw) Peak Anyone who’s been reading this blog since it started, and I don’t think there are many of you, know that after I put out a new Montana history book I usually take some time off. And that means this blog goes pretty quiet for a month or two.
Since I’m so busy with other projects right now, and since I don’t plan on putting out many chapters of my third Montana history book on this site, that kind of leaves me in a quandary. I want to write about Montana history, but I don’t want to get too far ahead of my narrative.

Montana’s got a long and varied history, and there’s lots for everyone.
