The #1 cable news show in the nation is Tucker Carlson Tonight.
If you’re not watching it, I encourage you to. I don’t have a TV or a cable provider, yet I’m still able to watch a 10-minute clip each day on Fox.
I remember when John Stewart laid-into Tucker on Crossfire back in the early-2000s. The show ended soon after.
In the years since?
Stewart has become an afterthought, while Tucker has risen to #1.
I don’t waste my time with the Rush Limbaugh show anymore. How long will the guest hosts last? There was talk that Don Bongino would take over.
Who the hell is that? Some former secret service guy that I guess is some kind of ‘rising star’ in conservative circles.
I’m not sure why I should care about him or his opinion.
I switched over to the Dana show. I probably wouldn’t have if they’d allowed Mark Stein to continue to guest host, but they stopped. Probably contract/money disputes.
The nice thing is that the Dana show is on the same channel as Aaron Flint’s radio show, which runs from 9 to 10.
I stopped listening to our local KGVO over a year ago, around the time they stopped trying. I just don’t understand the appeal of aged real estate brokers and entitled Iranian university professors. Some do, for that’s all they seem to put on the show anymore.
Flint has the right idea - why listen to those pricks when I can listen to a call-in show that has actual Montanans giving us their thoughts.
Some suit-and-tie asshole vs. a farmer that’s actually working in the field?
It’s not even a contest.
245 years ago we told the royals to ‘fuck off.’ They didn’t listen, we went to war, bested ‘em, they tried again 38 years later, we kicked their ass again, and they finally got the message.
We’re lucky we got rid of those leeches. The UK was not so lucky.
The big story this weekend is that Prince Philip died.
Who cares?
I mean really...who cares?
I sure as shit don’t, and why should I? What has Prince Philip ever done for me, for any American?
These people are the worst of the worst, and I feel sorry for the brainwashed British citizenry that feels the need to ‘pay their respects.’
Respects for what...an $88 billion family...that does what, exactly?
Here in America we have the same kind of assholes-on-our-elbows, we just call them celebrities.
What have they done for you lately?
Yep, that’s right - nothing!
And yet we continue to fawn-over them like they're gods. Why is this? Why are we so empty inside that we think celebrities have all the answers?
Sadly, for the next week we’ll have to listen to the corporate media talk endlessly about Harry and his appearance at the funeral.
What drama!
A bunch of rich, entitled, egotistical individuals without a viable real-world skill amongst them.
Leaders, aren’t they?
In 10 days, filing begins for the Missoula city council races.
No one interesting is going to run. In my district, we have some guy that made his money first off the student loan crisis, and then the affordable housing crisis. Now he wants to represent Missoula, and I fully expect the developers will help him win.
Ain’t gonna do nothing for my neighborhood.
You’re not going to hear much of anything about these races, and the reason is quite simple - they’re boring.
Bunch of middle-aged, rich white people? What’s so exciting about that?
Absolutely nothing, and that’s why these races will get little play in the media...and so what?
Who cares about these people or their ideas? No one does, that’s why you’re not going to hear about it.
And really...does it matter if more leftists get onto the council? What difference is it going to make?
The legislature has hamstrung Missoula’s ability to screw over the citizenry as much as they want. The transplants don’t give a fuck - taxes in Missoula are ten times less than they were in California, Washington, and New York.
Vast amounts of lip service will be paid to this, to some kind of idea that Montanans’ lives will get better in the coming years.
What a crock.
Our lives are only going to get worse, especially when the food shortages start, the vaccine passports arrive.
Isn’t it interesting that other states are making the vaccine passports illegal, but Montana is not. Why is that?
It’s because Gianforte is already bored, already looking for the next thing. I suspect he’ll run against Tester in ‘24, though word on the street is that Tester won’t be running again.
I’d be surprised if a man that morbidly obese actually lives to ‘24, but that’s just me.
I’m pretty confident that a year from now, you and I will be poorer while Gianforte and his ilk will be richer.
How does that benefit you? If it doesn’t benefit you, why do you put up with it?
Hey, keep voting - maybe something will change.
Speaking of voting, a week from tomorrow marks the 3-month anniversary of the rigged election coup that installed puppet Biden in the White House.
How are you planning to celebrate?
