It’s like deja vu all over again.
That’s what I think when I see images of Laurie Bishop out campaigning. I’m reminded of Kathleen Williams, and her two failed attempts. Bishop is heading down the same path.
I know what you’re thinking…Who the fuck is Laurie Bishop?!?
Well, I guess she’s a legislator from Livingston. Here’s her generic campaign website, complete with zero information. I wouldn’t waste my time visiting it.
She got elected to the legislature in ‘16 by beating Deb Lamm, then got reelected twice, by about 15% each time.
Now she thinks she’s ready for Congress. Here are some images to make you think that too:
Now, it’s important to remember that Bishop is a New Yorker. She’s a transplant, one that’s been here fewer years than Gianforte has.
And she’s desperate. I know this because she’s asking me for money:
Honestly...I don’t know what these women are thinking.
So far we have Bishop, Cora Neumann, and Monica Tranel running for the yet-to-be-determined 2nd U.S. House seat.
Zinke is running, and I think Dr. Al is as well.
I knew the day that Zinke declared that he’d be winning his old seat back, easy.
So then...what’s with all this show-boating by Bishop?
It’s nothing more than a form of virtue-signaling. The intent is to position her for some kind of job later on, perhaps head of MT Planned Parenthood, Carol’s List, some national nonprofit based in D.C., or maybe even the plum job, head of the MT Democratic Party.
That’s all Bishop can hope for, nothing more. That’s all this run is hoping to accomplish, nothing more.
She has no chance of winning, none of these clownish women do. And we certainly won’t see a man run on the Dem side - the women of the party have emasculated all the men, happened years ago.
So that means for the next 13 months, we’ll have to see people like Bishop parade around on social media, acting like they have a chance.
Anyone with half a brain knows they have no chance.
So what’s this all about?
Like I said, getting a better job. This is Bishop’s interview process. She’s using money from Dem donors to get a high-paid job with some Dem outfit.
Doesn’t get more pathetic than that.
