It was of course a blogger, as our corporate newspaper/TV media won’t touch that.
They know who pays the bills – rich folks like Hillary and her supporters, not Donald Trump.
So we hear about pussy grabbing and ignore Hillary’s support of ISIS.
RD had the article up, and I started to write out a comment, it got quite long, and then I realized…why post it here when no one will care?
So I cut and pasted it over here and here we are.
Now, when it comes to revelations that Hillary supports ISIS, we really have to use reputable sources.
I chose to go with Salon today, as this is where trusted Montana Democrats like Eric Stern have posted.
The headline there from October 11 was Leaked Hillary Clinton emails show U.S. allies Saudi Arabia and Qatar supported ISIS.
I like how they used the past tense of support and not the present tense, or even the continuous tense.
Because supported is a lot different from ‘support’ or ‘supporting,’ both of which I think we’re still doing.
When I say ‘we’ I’m of course talking about America and our allies.
I and others have been saying for some time now…’hey, listen up – America is the one funding ISIS!’
No one wants to hear that shit.
But then these emails come along showing that’s exactly what’s happening and that Hillary not only knew about it, she signed-off on it.
What may be even worse is that she encouraged the growth of ISIS so that it’d destabilize the region.
Isn’t that great? It means more oil profits for her and her cronies but more American sons and daughters coming home in flag-draped boxes to get it for them.
Most Americans don't care.
For Hillary supporters, they just can't fathom how people would continue to support Trump...especially after the pussy comments.
For Trump supporters, they just can't believe anyone would support Hillary...especially after it’s revealed she supports ISIS through our Middle East proxy states.
But neither a Hillary nor a Trump supporter will change camps.
Oh, you might see the campaigns touting ads with people doing just that, but I think it's a very small amount.
And then you get scumbags like John McCain the other day, saying he can't vote for either.
Well, come out and support Johnson, you self-righteous prick! But I'm glad he doesn't - that neocon is despicable and knows the corporate-military strings that allow him to function.
RD has said it before - I kind of hope Hillary wins just so she fucks things up so much that Americans might finally get some sense knocked into 'em.
If Trump somehow gets in, the result will be about the same.
That's what's so wonderful about this election - it doesn't really matter! The country's going to hell no matter what, and indeed, has already been in hell for years.
At least the media's profiting. Boy, they make a lot of money - regular advertising, candidates buying ads, and probably tons of tax write-offs to boot.
The media will bombard you with Trump's pussy comments during the dinner hour, but they won't tell you of Hillary's support of ISIS.
The media is smart - they know who'll rub their back the best come January, and that's the corptocracy's Hillary. She's good for business...so long as it's the business of the elites.
If it's Main Street, well...go buy some plywood and board up those windows - your job'll probably be heading to Asia. People there work for about $1 a day and don't require benefits or holidays. Can't beat that!
As Americans, we don’t care about this.
Oh, we might say we do…but that doesn’t do much.
Sometimes we’ll post our feelings on Facebook, maybe rack up a few dozen likes, perhaps more.
Alas, that doesn’t seem to change anything either.
So we throw up our hands and head home for a night of TV. Unsurprisingly, the problems are still there, waiting for us in the morning.
So we block them out. Football helps with this, as does beer. There are all manner of distractions, in fact, to take our mind away from how the country is doing.
Deep down, however, we know it’s doing as bad as ever…but we don’t know what to do.
We’ve been brought-up to believe voting changes things, but it never does.
We keep doing it though, because like cattle in a pen, we’re docile and like to be controlled.
Our corrupt system and those that control it rely upon this docility.
So whether it’s Hillary’s emails, Trump’s comments, or whatever else might crop up in the next 3 weeks…nothing will change.
Or will it?
I’ve got about 40 years left, myself, and some of you have even more.
Lots of stuff can happen during that time, lots of changes.
Some of the changes will come about because those with only 10 or 20 years left will die off.
Lots of change happens that way.
People like Trump and Hillary fall into that category, and if we’re lucky, into the 5-year category.
Yeah, they could be gone sooner then we think, and we should hope for this, if not pray that their health gives out.
The world will be a better place without those two, and everyone that hangs around them.
Alas, they have kids…and kids have a way of continuing the crimes started by the parents.
This is especially true in our dynastic system, with the Bush kids surely waiting in the wings, and Chelsea Clinton proving herself to be almost a bigger corporate zealot than her mom, at least according to the emails.
But you know what? In 40 years or so they’ll be gone too, dead as a doornail.
Sometimes we don’t have to wait for them to die, they just fade away.
The best is when they become a joke, one that cuts through every area of the culture.
Nothing scares the rich and powerful more than becoming a joke, or looking stupid, or doing something uncouth.
I guess in closing I’ll just reiterate that I don’t really care who wins this presidential race, as regular, working Americans won’t see anything in their lives change.
I do hope that whoever wins fucks things up real good, however.
I don’t own stocks, I don’t own a home, I don’t have property, I don’t have a cushy job with benefits…it don’t matter to me.
Perhaps you have something to lose, however.
In that regard, might be best to play it safe and go with Trump or Hillary.
And as a nation, that’s what we’ll do, deluding ourselves that it somehow makes a difference.
I’ve only got about 40 more years of the nonsense left.
How about you?
