Who ever thought building empty cities was a good idea? Well...Xi, that’s who. He had to have unbridled economic growth, no matter the cost.
And it’s caught up to him.
Evergrande is hanging by a thread. It’s going to pull down the whole paper tiger economy of China. It’ll likely trigger the long overdue ‘correction’ that the US should have had years ago.
The Fed will of course print more money to try and stave this crisis off, creating even more inflation. But don’t worry...it’s just transitory.
Folks, I am so fucking worried about this month. Things always go bad in October. I think they’re gonna go balls-to-the-wall bad this month.
Simple peons like us have very little to worry about. I’ve been hoping and praying for a market crash for years. It’s the only way us little guys will ever get ahead, ever see reasonable housing prices.
People like Xi? They hope and pray that doesn’t happen. Because if it does, they’re not only out of a job, they stand the risk of being beaten to death in the streets.
Let’s hope that happens.
