It’s not really going that well for him, however. Most of the comments on the site these days are critical of his take on the world.
Don would do himself a world of good if he’d just not reply.
I don’t get it.
I mean, he has the platform of the blog. He can take as many words as he wants to make his point in his post.
Once you put it up, it’s out there. The public can see it, and with comments, react.
Why not just let your words stand, and speak for themselves? If the need to reply is so pressing, why not just put up another post for that?
But he doesn’t.
Instead he replies to the comments, and in such a put-down fashion. When you see Don reply, the elite and entitled in him really shines through. He’s clearly better than you, and he’s not afraid to make you know it.
It’s sad, really.
On his most recent post, a commenter challenges him. Don replied that he wanted proof of these lies. When the commenter replied back, Don’s reply was to just put up a link.
So I went to that link and read the article.
There’s no mention of civil war in the entire article. Don goes on the flimsy line she put up on Facebook saying “we’ll be in war on our own soil.”
Is that calling for a civil war? Is someone saying that a war on our own soil is possible the same as calling for people to wage a civil war?
I don’t think so.
When it comes to the claim that she called teachers communists, there’s only this:
‘“It’s become painfully obvious the teachers union is working against our constitution and for socialism and communism,”’ Manzella wrote in a social thread on the Ravalli County Republicans' Facebook page, which she administers.”
This one is a little tricky, in the Bill Clinton “is” fashion.
Are teachers the same as the teacher’s union? Does working for communism make you a communist?
I suppose you could argue it either way.
But really...who cares?
No one.
Of the 10 comments on Don’s post, just one supports his arguments.
Despite that, I am so happy that Don continues to write almost everyday.
He really does think he makes a difference.
And he’s right - the GOP has never been doing better. Every issue and every candidate he supports fail miserably.
It’ll be fun watching him spin his tires in the mud this week with whatever new topic he chooses to regale us with.
