My, they’re slow over there at Wall-Street-Democrat HQ, aren’t they?
One thing I liked in the post was the last part, saying “let’s speculate as to whom Bullock will select.”
Damn, I did that two days ago – where have you been?
Well, in damage control mode, that’s where. That’s evident in this next passage, this huge block of text:
Still, it is no surprise that Republicans have spent the last two days tweeting suggestions that her departure indicates some great scandal, as is their typical MO, because of the fact that her departure was a surprise and that the Governor said he was as surprised as the rest of us. That’s hardly a smoking gun. Politics is usually much more boring than House of Cards. Some bloggers and tweeters I’ve seen have made the awful decision to print silly, tasteless, baseless rumors, with nothing behind them, rumors likely being purveyed by the GOP. Any such person claiming to be a supposed source of news should must be permanently discredited, if they weren’t already.
Let’s dissect each of those sentences and try to discern what they mean.
“Still, it is no surprise that Republicans have spent the last two days tweeting suggestions that her departure indicates some great scandal, as is their typical MO, because of the fact that her departure was a surprise and that the Governor said he was as surprised as the rest of us.”
God, the reek of hypocrisy on that blog is strong.
You know full well that if there were rumors about a Republican gubernatorial having an affair in his office, that Democratic mouthpiece site would be on it like flies on shit.
I guess they feel they need to take the moral high ground today. How decent of them.
“That’s hardly a smoking gun.”
No, the Democratic mouthpiece wants to do all it can to make sure this story goes away. Alas, they’re not that convincing.
“Politics is usually much more boring than House of Cards.”
Of course, I doubt that whoever writes for MT Cowgirl is that familiar with the state’s history. I mean, I never hear any stories or historical analysis there, just speculation.
“Some bloggers and tweeters I’ve seen have made the awful decision to print silly, tasteless, baseless rumors, with nothing behind them, rumors likely being purveyed by the GOP.”
Why is it an “awful decision,” and who is it awful for?
I guess it must be awful for me, huh, though I’m not named. Well, I’ve been kicked off that site’s commenting section and I never got on their blog roll.
They don’t like me, in fact, they hate me.
So…how is it awful for me to go after a story, one they ignore because it doesn’t benefit them?
It’s because Montana Cowgirl isn’t concerned with what benefits or hurts Montana, just what benefits and hurts Democrats.
“Any such person claiming to be a supposed source of news should must be permanently discredited, if they weren’t already.”
Well, the site is sore that they're not the only one in town that gets tips.
I particularly like the typo of “should must,” as if we’re somehow not quite sure how serious this transgression is.
Again, what are the consequences of speaking your mind about a public official?
There are none.
My, how MT Cowgirl wants us to be afraid. They’re in denial and cover-up mode over there.
Keep up the pressure. The dank hypocrisy of that site is troubling and needs to end.
The clandestine and anonymous authors of that site do more to harm the Democratic cause in Montana than anyone.
Their constant goading, blaming, and accusing of GOP legislators and others earns the enmity of the majority party in this state.
They could care less if this grinds the legislative process to a halt.
Your family continues to suffer as a result.
