Yesterday someone put up a post on Missoula’s Reddit forum talking about some debate in Lolo that Ryan Zinke skipped, but Monica Tranel showed up to.

My favorites are blaming Russia for anyone that offers constructive criticism of the Democratic Party.

What will happen is about what Tulsi is saying - Democrats have lost most sense of rationality as they bury their heads in the sand.
It’s so obvious. Everyone knows it, even most Dems. They’re gonna lose big time in a few weeks.
Oh, they’ll never admit that until it’s over. Then they’ll finally admit what’s happening - the economy is in complete ruin while they send our hard-earned (printed) assets overseas to Ukraine.
Dems have become the warmongers they always purported to hate. Of course, if you follow the money you know the military-industrial complex bought-off both parties equally a long time ago.
Myself, I don’t know if I’ll even vote this year.
Well…I’ll probably do so to at least vote against the idiotic mill levies and bond issues here in Missoula.
But the candidates?
No.
I can’t justify voting for a D or an R in this political and economic climate.
Neither party really cares about our falling-apart country. One news story after another sweeps our problems under the rug so we forget about them.
How’s that water in Jackson? What about Flint? Let’s not get into the latest hurricane to hit the Sunshine State.
Just ignore it and let the bankers print more money to handle it.
We have 26 days until the mid-term elections.
I suspect Zinke will win quite easily against Tranel. She’ll then go the way of Kathleen Williams - she’ll disappear.
Some other woman Dem will come along next cycle to be the next Williams/Tranel…just another in a long line of losing Dem women.
It’s not that they’re women or even that they’re Dems so much.
It’s that they’re message is utter garbage. And how they deliver it? I saw an ad on TV this past weekend with Tranel carrying a snake in a shovel on a runway.
Lady, I can’t pay the fucking rent and you want me to get excited about that?
These people are so tone-deaf and clueless it’s just insulting at this point.
And don’t think I’m defending Zinke. He’s a whore, it doesn't get any more simple than that. He’ll sell himself to whoever pays the most. That’s what whores do.
And that’s the story all over the country, in just about every single House and Senate race.
Congress is hopelessly corrupt and has been for a super long time. Many blame it on Citizen United, but it was broken long before that.
It’s never going to get fixed, either. We all know that, once we stop lying to ourselves.
Now is the time for honesty.
I believe we’ll see a lot of honest revelations come out before the election. I hope it ruins careers and lives. Most politicians deserve a taste of what they’ve dished out for years and years.
Much hardship will come, but there will be immense bright spots, too. Overall, our system is completely unsustainable and due for a monumental collapse.
Is that a bad thing? I don’t think so.
Some people do, however…and they’ll do everything in their power to keep the broken status quo going as long as possible.
This does not benefit us at all. The current system does not benefit us because it was not designed to.
For the next 26 days we’ll have to listen to the politicians lie to us and pretend they want to help us.
Sadly, one of them will ‘win’ and go to the District of Criminals to profit off their ego and greed, all while pantomiming that they’re helping us.
Nothing could be further from the truth. They’re hurting us and ruining this country, with the help of the corporations and their media lapdogs.
God, I hope we have some big changes coming. The sooner the better.
