Let’s be honest - the Democrats have a very good chance of taking the House, the Senate and the Presidency in 175 days.
I don’t think the Democrats will do the same in Montana. The state is too red, and too many will blame the Democrats for the economic collapse that will be clear to all by November.
But nationally? Trump is on the ropes. Yellow journalists are out for blood. And Americans off all stripes are holding their hand out, waiting for their government money.
In that kind of environment, how can Republicans win?
The corporate media is telling us that another lockdown is coming, probably in June.
At that point, about 50% of America’s small businesses will simply throw in the towel and close for good. The owners of these establishments will become the managers for the corporate chains.
Small business loans and stimulus checks to individuals have been a disaster, with many people not getting any money, and most not getting enough.
By the end of June, I suspect this stimulus money won’t be stimulating anything, aside from protests in the streets from all the low-income, food-line people that can’t hang on anymore.
For those still getting stimulus checks, stagflation will wipe out most of the checks’ value.
The Fed will embark upon the disastrous cycle of printing more money, which will only drive up prices further. The government will institute price controls, which will stymie production, resulting in lower wages and even more layoffs.
At that point, the government will begin nationalizing businesses. That’s when we know America is over.
Tens of thousands of Montanans have been thrown out of work by our Democratic governor and various county health departments and their unelected members.
Despite that, a teacher still being paid with taxpayer dollars to do a fraction of his normal workload is desperate for more of your money.
I guess making $715 a month to attack and attack and attack is not enough.
In 22 days I won’t have to see another tweet from Whitney Williams.
By that time the primary will be over and she’ll be done. I suspect she’ll be done with Montana politics for good at that point.
She never cared anyways.
We never heard from her until she decided to run, and when she loses on June 2, we won’t hear from her again.
A lot of people care about Montana just as much as Whitney does.
They care during the election, and when it’s over they stop caring. We’ve seen it time and time again over the years.
I saw another one of MT Cowgirl’s unhinged tweets today.
When I see this tweet, I’m reminded of the half-truths that Chuck Todd tried to spin this weekend.
He’s too proud to apologize for his shoddy reporting.
And why should he apologize for twisting people’s words to feed his narratives of half-truths and outright falsehoods?
He shouldn’t - the corporate media has been doing the same thing for years...long before Trump came along.
Chuck Todd edits videos to imply they lie so he can lie to create his narrative and he keeps his job. Someone like Chris Matthews questions Democratic voters’ acceptance of socialism, and he loses his.
This is ‘your’ corporate media.
If we’re lucky, when the economy collapses it’ll take the networks’ ad revenue with it. Then the layoffs can start, and if we’re exceptionally lucky, Chuck Todd will be one of the first to go.
Anyways, we see the same kind of half-truths with Cowgirl.
Yes, we have had over 70,000 people die from the Chinese flu this year.
We’ve also had about 600,000 die from Cancer. Another 120,000 will die this year from Alzheimer’s.
But you know what...that doesn’t feed the narrative.
The company you probably pay for your screen addiction is now moving most of its production from China to...India.
So much for making things in America.
But you’ll still buy from that company, won’t you?
I’d write more, but I have a baby crying for something and another kid watching YouTube instead of doing their remote learning while the wife is desperately trying to save what’s left of her small business.
