Trump will sign it into law in the coming weeks.
Democrats must be having a conniption fit.
The well-off Dems are. Take Angela McLean.
Tweets from twits.
This woman helped give us Clay Christian. He no doubt helped her get the Lieutenant Governor gig. She got fired from that one because she couldn't work with the governor. Now she makes $47 an hour working for the state.
Angela, do us all a favor and go back to Butte or Anaconda or wherever the hell you're from.
While you might be pissed, little in the lives of average Americans has changed.
So much for fiscal conservatism. Now we also get to pay taxes on our state and local taxes. Say goodbye to the SALT deduction. #mtpol https://t.co/d88eFEBlD8

Maybe the tax cut will affect me…maybe it won’t. I dunno.
What I do know is that the pendulum swings. It’s been swingin’ pretty far to the right, lately. One day it’ll swing pretty far to the left.
And maybe it’d never swing to the left if it wasn’t for this swing to the right.
The tax cuts.
My…the Montana Democratic blogs will have a field day with this one for the next couple of weeks.
$10 says their attacks on Zinke will increase.
Sure now how to choose their targets, don’t they?
The local Dems had a field day with the tax cut idea for the past few weeks.
And their efforts did not bring about the outcome they desired.
Taxes are being cut for all brackets, and the rich will enjoy a disproportionate share.
This is how you want it.
If you didn’t want it this way, then it wouldn’t have happened.
Oh…am I full of shit?
No, you are.
If you’d get off your fat ass enough, get up from that cable TV and six-pack of beer enough, then this would never have happened.
But you don’t really care. Americans don’t really care.
Look at that James Conner image post from earlier this week – 40 people with signs standing on a curb. 40 out of 1,000,000 Montanans.
Numbers like that are why we have the representatives that we do; the Congress that we do.
It’s because people wanted this tax cut.
Don’t ever forget that.
Don’t ever forget that the loud and vocal minority speaking out against this tax cut is nothing but that – a minority.
Hell, 70% of Americans don’t even take itemized deductions.
Just be happy you don’t live in a blue state, like California. 7-13% tax rate. Here it’s 1-7%.
The 2016 election showed us that Dems can’t vote where it matters. But my goodness…they can sure bitch when those deductions are on the chopping block, eh?
Students are some of the loudest bitchers. And the least likely to vote.
Dems and their students and their minorities.
Same people that bitched about Hillary winning. I guess the Russians just didn’t do enough to influence the election…even though the Russians ensured more people voted for Hillary than voted for Trump.
Popular vote, right?
Go figure.
I can’t wait for the reactions to this tax bill from the die-hards, the Pogrebas, and Talbots and Kosteds and cowturds.
They can sure bitch, but I’ve yet to see them do anything else that actually impacts my life.
How about yours?
Yeah, let them squeal – who gives a fuck?
As you can see, not too many people do give a fuck.
That was the GOP philosophy behind this tax cut. Sure, a lot of people won’t be happy…but they don’t vote, or if they do vote, it sure the hell ain’t enough to make a difference.
So the GOP is quite full of themselves right now.
The pendulum swings, and it’s swung in their favor. It’ll swing again, however.
Bernie and Pocahontas aren’t the people to make it swing, however. They’re old and tired, and no one is getting excited about them. I like Bernie, but give him the nod in ’20 and it’ll be another Trump term, no bones about it.
Bernie’s too old, and will never get over the ‘Socialist’ label that’s been applied to him. Oh, you might like it. Rural America sure don’t.
Pocahontas will get nowhere. At this point she’s the equivalent of low-energy…oh, what was that Florida Bush’s name, again?
Like I said…I can’t wait to see the reaction to these tax cuts from the liberal, drive-by media. They had a good day yesterday – Flynn pleading guilty.
Took a lot of attention off their grab-handing colleagues, and the execs that just didn’t know anything about it.
And the reaction from the MT blogs? Boy, it’ll be priceless. It’ll be loud. It’ll be in-your-face.
But like all reactions from the MT blogs, it won’t get them their way.
Despite that…there is one thing in their favor.
The pendulum, and its swing.
