I know how that goes, and for many years I got crappy covers for my books, covers that often had nothing to do with them.
That all changed when I decided to spend some money and get some custom art. Deviant Art is the site to do that, and I’ve spent more than $1,000 in the past six to nine months on covers. Most of that was getting old books updated, and where they needed to be. In other words, I was backtracking…fixing mistakes. I don’t want you to have to do that, so this post is for you.
I was fixing those mistakes yet again a week or so ago, and that’s how I ran across these artists. I thought I’d share them with you, because I know you and other authors like you are always on the lookout for talent that can help your business grow.
So let’s get right into it – here are 4 more awesome Deviant Art artists for your book covers!
Simon Tjong from Indonesia is this artist, and he’s got some great stuff, as you can see:
I think this artist’s real talents lie in landscapes, but those just aren’t the size I need. Maybe you do. Other than that, though, he’s got some great battle-style images, as you can see below.
Raro666
Jebus Garcia is this artist, and he’s from Mexico. I really like this image of the woman with the knife, and that style will make a great eBook cover.
Feintbellt
This is Francisco Ruiz, an artist from Chile that’s self-taught. He has some amazing images, both portrait and landscape. I especially like his dragons and how he can show action in a still image.
Moonarc
This is Audia Pahlevi from Indonesia. Wow, when I saw the art that this person had, I was amazed. The women are gorgeous! When I see art like this, I want to write a book with an exciting female lead…just so I can get a cool cover.
Wow, great art, huh? You might like the art in these other articles as well. Check them out!
