First, it’s no surprise – I’m pounding out content on this blog as the Montana election season heats up. Next, I know how to write SEO so my stuff shows up in Search on Google.
What does that mean? It means people are going to Google to type in things like “is john walsh still in senate race,” which is this site’s most popular keyword so far this month.
Pertaining to Walsh, I’m also getting:
- walsh drop out;
- walsh and plagiarism;
- john walsh plagiarism;
- howie long residence montana.
Alright, I get quite a few people looking for where Howie Long’s spread is, which I have no idea. I’ll tell you, I get more people interested in famous Montana celebrities than just about everything on politics combined.
Anyways, my strategy of going after Republicans and the terrible policies they have in store for Montana is working. I’m already getting things like “steve daines for senate” and “zenke in montana election,” just a week or so after writing more on these folks.
I’ll continue to write more about Republicans running in Montana races and I’ll do so in a way that people searching out their name on Google or Bing or Yahoo will see my article. It might be on page 2 or page 3 of Google at first, but as you can see, people are finding it.
People are also finding me for the following:
- Watching paint dry;
- Write an email to mrs jay in the sales;
- What is the rating for the police academy movies;
- Inside the eureka hotel 1853-1854;
- Fucking iraquian;
- Books that aren’t whiny;
- Big long fuck.
See, I write fun stuff, and I get all kinds of people. Police Academy 2: Their First Assignment? Yeah, I’ve got a pretty good monopoly on anyone searching out that ’85 gem, mainly because I wrote a detailed post about Police Academy movies and their history.
Why would anyone waste their time on such? It’s a good question, and one that’s answered in my book SEO & 80s Movies, but you’re not interested in that.
What you are interested in is cutting and biting and hard-hitting but most of all honest articles about Montana politics, however silly they may be.
Well, keep coming back and I’ll keep writing this crap. Already the ‘good’ articles are getting about 100 hits on the day they go up, so that’s awesome. What are they?
