Flight 370 is a book I’m working on, and it’s very dark.
Actually, this might be a book you want to pass up. It deals with conspiracies, shadow governments, and dark forces at play.
The novel starts on March 8, just after midnight. That’s when Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 disappeared, and this book speculates on that. In fact, the first 75 pages or so is a front seat ride on that plane and wherever it was heading.
I’ll get to where it’s heading in the book, and those that read some of the earliest Free Fiction Fridays last spring have a good idea.
This is a fun novel, and if you’ve read Tom Clancy before, you’ll know what the basic formula is. Right now I have more than 45,000 words written on this book, and I can tell it’ll need to get up to around 60,000 or so. That’ll be a good 250 pages in print and about 225 for the eBook.

After the first part of the book we leave the plane and head to Washington. There we see the shadow government deeply embedded in the Pentagon, and how this works against both the CIA and NSA. All the organizations are corrupt at some level, and a coup is in the works. That’ll take us to Montana, and some shady election mailers that might tip the balance of political power irrevocably.
Before that, however, we see the forces of good that are working against the forces of evil, and they’re called Team Dumbbell. You can read all about them in my short book Bring Back Our Girls, and it’ll give you a lot of background info on this book.
The team has to get into Iraq, stop some beheadings, and thwart the American-led forces of ISIS there. What they uncover is the real plot of Flight 370, and where it’s heading. A race against time starts, one that has a jet liner speeding to Manhattan on an early Tuesday morning.
