I’ve been thinking of doing this for some time, but the truth is I was a little lazy.
And it’s not that hard making a box set. I talked a lot about it in my post called My Foray into Amazon Box Sets.
All you really need to do is put all three of your Word documents together, redo the table of contents’, and make a box set cover image.
Sounds daunting, but if you follow the advice in that last post, you should be alright.
Since I put up that post about The Warring States Box Set I’ve sold 15 copies, almost as many as the individual books combined.
So all in all, self-published box sets are a good way to earn more money from the titles you already have.
Readers also get a deal with box sets. Both Books 2 and 3 of The Jongurian Trilogy are $4.99 now, so buying the box set for $8.95 makes sense. And since you’re getting Book 1 for free it’s even better.
If you’ve been thinking of reading my first epic fantasy trilogy now would be a good time. The Jongurian Trilogy is on sale exclusively on Amazon now.
