Each month I like to put my new eBooks, or at least recent eBooks, into the eBook Cover Design Awards held at thebookdesigner.com. This site is run by Joel Friedlander, someone with many years in the traditional print and publishing business. Each month he puts on these awards, and they typically see more than 100 fiction eBook entries and about 10 to 20 non-fiction eBook entries.

A couple months ago I got some good comments on my Chinese historical novels when I submitted them, and in the October Awards I managed to win a gold star, which is a favorable mention in your category. Because of that I’m allowed to display this cool badge on my site, which you may have noticed in the past day or two if you’ve scrolled down the articles pages and glanced at the sidebar.
Both of my Tarot book covers are recent, and I got them a few months ago and talked about them in two recent blog posts called New Tarot eBook Cover and Astounding, Mesmerizing, and Revealing New Tarot eBook Cover. I thought they were good covers, and I guess other people think so too.
Perhaps the most important, however, is that readers like them – my sales for Tarot: The Mystery and the Mystique continue to do well each month, and Ten Minute Tarot is finally starting to pick up steam. Hey, the book’s only been out for about 2 months, so I shouldn’t worry too much!
Anyways, it’s cool to get an award and if you’ve got some new eBooks you might want to think about submitting them to the site.
