Less Than a Week Left for Free Books!

There’s less than a week left in Smashword’s July Summer/Winter Sale.  Now’s the time to find quality eBooks for cheap, as well as several great books that author’s have listed as Free.  You won’t have a great sale like this for another six months or so, so don’t be left out!

And all you Amazon aficionados, don’t think that you can’t get your Kindle books from Smashwords.  When you buy a book you’ll be given lots of download options, including the .mobi file you’ll need for your Kindle.  Uploading it from your computer to your e-Reader should pose no problems!

My Free Books

Several of my books are listed as free on Smashwords right now:

• The Jongurian Mission was $2.99 but now it’s been listed down to free permanently.  I’m waiting for Amazon to price-match it, and then I’ll start a marketing blitz with it.  Now’d be the time to get it so you can tell your friends you knew about it before anyone else!
  

• Tarot: The Mystery and the Mystique has been reduced from $0.99 to free for the entire month.  You’ll have just a week left to get this great, and easy to read book on Tarot.  The book primarily focuses on the early history of the Tarot, discussing its origins in Italy and how it moved up into France.  Two decks are highlighted, and you’ll learn everything you need to give an accurate reading.
  

• Write Now! 20 Simple Strategies for Writing Successfully is still knocked down to free from $0.99.  This book has received the most attention during the Smashwords Summer/Winter sale, and it’s no surprise to me.  The book got a lot of attention when it was first put out in blog posts on this site beginning in the spring.  Lots of people have been helped by the advice, and hopefully they’re writing up a storm right now!
  

My Discounted Books

Besides my free books each and every one of my other titles has been discounted.  You’ll have to act fast, however; there’s just one more week left before they go back to their original prices.

• Trouble in Jonguria and The Jongurian Resolution have both been knocked down from $2.99 to $1.50, a 50% savings!  Why not pick up that first volume in the series for free and then get these ones for when you’re ready?  All books in the Jongurian Trilogy have maps, and each is of epic length, coming in well over 120,000 words for each novel.
  

• Tribes and Trappers is the first volume in my Montana history series and the second volume is well on the way; hopefully it’ll see a release date sometime in August.  Now’s the time to get the first volume at a 25% discount, just $3.74 down from $4.99.  Learn all about Native American tribes and the mountain men and fur trappers who tried their best not to make them angry.
  

• English Rocks! 101 ESL Games, Activities, and Lesson Plans is the perfect thing to buy now if you’re heading to China to teach for the next school year.  The book is currently enjoying a price of $3.74, down 25% from $4.99.  All of the support files you’ll need can be found on my ESL website for free!
  

• The entire Warring States series is 25% off.  There are 3 books in this series currently, and I hope to have more on the way soon as many fans have recently gotten back to me saying how much they’ve enjoyed reading about this little-known period in Chinese history.  I’m planning on making all new covers for these books here in August, so now’s the time to get that nostalgic copy!  Prices range from $2.99 for the first book and just $1.49 for the second two books.
  

• Write to the Top: How to Write Website Content that Google Loves is a great addition to anyone’s library, especially if you have a website or blog.  You’re always going to need to create pages for your website, and this book tells you how to write each and every one of them.  I’ve received a lot of positive feedback on this book, and it’s made me a lot of money with my day job as an SEO content writer.
