This was a fun one to write, and when you read it, you’re going to get a real roller coaster.
The story is that things are going to hell. The previous mission saw the Joes take some major casualties. Now Snakeyes has lost it and he’s taken off God knows where. To top it off, the Cobra mission that started all the chaos has wound up in Canada.
There a team of ex-Joes is recruited to head into a hi-tech company and stop Cobra from taking the Infinity Machine, a device that can literally change the world…if it’s taken to the Large Hadron Collider near Geneva.
The team of Joes is an unlikely one. Quick Kick, Sub-Zero, Gung-Ho and Alpine. Together they get into the base after Cobra breaks in, and then the real fireworks begin.
Meanwhile, back at AUTEC naval base in Florida, the main Joe team is told they’ll be moved up to a secure location in Montana. At the same time, Duke begins to lose it as his growing problems with alcohol begin to manifest themselves, and endanger the lives of his friends.
The stage is set for the mid-point of the series, which is full-on action, non-stop excitement and lots of guns and bullets and bombs.
