It’s called Ten Minute Tarot, and here’s the cover:
I had more than 150 different designs given to me for this Tarot eBook cover, and I solicited a lot of advice from people on the Amazon eBook forum and the Kboards forum. There were several good covers, but in the end it was the advice and tips I got from the forums that pointed me toward this cover.
Why The High Priestess?
In the end it came down to two main cards, The High Priestess and the Empress. Here are the two side by side:
Men don’t often buy Tarot books, which is kind of funny since two of the books I used a lot for research were written by men. Go figure!
Anyway, I figure women will be drawn to the two powerful and mysterious figure on the covers.
Lots of Tarot eBooks also have The Empress front and center, so I again decided to steer away from that. I decided on The High Priestess because she’s more about her logic, intellect, and reasoning. She has a lot of wisdom, and others seek her out for guidance and advice.
That sounded pretty good to me. We’ll see how the legions of Tarot fans (alright, maybe a few dozen) will react to that when Ten Minute Tarot goes on sale in eBook retailers near you real soon!
