Today I got my Montana legislative election walking cards in the mail. Yep, I’ve got 3,000 of these puppies, and that means I can start knocking on doors.
Here’s what they look like, both the front and back:
Yeah, these cost about $500, and I also have 500 remittance envelopes (for people to send you money), which cost another $300 or so.
Now, if I get more campaign contributions I might do another print run. Still, my walking lists only have 1,246 people that are in the Independent to Strong Democrat range.
That means I’ll have about 1,300 of these walking cards left over, so I’ll just have to start going down blocks and hitting up every house.
I’m looking forward to it, and think I’ll get started tomorrow night, even though we have a blizzard going on. I figure I can do some of these blocks close to me. I only have 3 months, so it’s time to get cracking!
