There’s 2 months left – what’s the problem?
I guess you’d have to ask the boys down south. Yeah, all of Lewis’s TV ads are being bought and paid for by some outfit named Canal Partners Media, based out of Marietta, Georgia.
So far he’s got $14,395 at Missoula’s KECI for both August and September, more than 140 spots. It might look confusing, but those are two invoices there on the site, even though they do look damn similar. Coincidence? I think not, especially when KECI makes $2,159.25 on the deal in commission charges.

On the other side of it, Ryan Zinke has spent just $8,015 with Missoula’s KPAX, giving them $1,202.25 in fees. During the same period of time, Lewis spent $1,340 at Helena’s KTVH…and after that there’s not much.
How about Amanda Curtis and Steve Daines – what’s the spending look like there?

Daines has spent virtually nothing, running few spots except those generic “I Love Montana” ads in August. It’s been quiet, and I’m not sure why Curtis isn’t getting more ads on the TV. Or is she? I had my TV channels cut off last week so we threw the thing in the dumpster – after taking it to Goodwill and having them tell us that was about the only option for it.
So I don’t watch TV, but I can check online and see that the Amanda Curtis campaign isn’t spending that money I gave them. And where the hell do I get a bumper sticker…or a T-shirt…or just a button to put on my backpack while I’m walking around the university?
I don’t know. Do you?
