I hope to hell he resigns and someone else can replace him before August 11, which is the deadline for him to withdraw. After that he’s in and Democrats will have to vote for him. Well, I sure won’t be one.
I’ll be voting for Roger Roots if John Walsh continues to stay in this race. I will not vote for Steve Daines, but many people will.
Fallout for Other Democrats
Andrew Person is a great example of the good kind of Democrat in this state while John Walsh is a perfect example of the bad kind. Person fought in Iraq just like Walsh, but you know he didn’t have some cushy command position. Right now Person is going through law school at UM, and I’m willing to bet that he’s not copying straight from the text and turning it in.
But who knows? If I was a Republican I might as well just figure that all Democrats are doing that. Hell, maybe Bullock did it, after all, he appointed this schmuck Walsh in the first place. I’ll tell you what, my opinion of Bullock has dropped about 20 points.
One person whose ass I should really get on is Don Pogreba at Intelligent Discontent. Here’s someone that was completely wrong. For months and months I looked at this guy and his obsession with John Bohlinger. Pogreba was adamant that this man not be chosen as our appointed Senator, mainly because he switched parties or…well...hell, I don’t know.
But I do know that Don and everyone else was wrong about Bohlinger and we need to get that man back or someone else that can run in this race with dignity and their head held high.
I don’t care if that’s Bohlinger, Denise Juneau, Dave Wanzenreid, or Brian Schweitzer…we’ve got to have someone that we honest Democrats can vote for.
What Academics Think
That’s why I can’t forgive this. I saw that paper that Walsh submitted, with the red and yellow all over it. What the hell are they doing at that War College? No wonder we can’t win a war to save our asses.
This makes me sick. I’d love to go back to school and get that degree and maybe teach at a university. But I don’t have the money. John Walsh just doesn’t have the brains.
He’s an imbecile and God am I glad I did not vote for him in the primary. My conscious is clear! And it will remain so if that bastard is still here in November. I’ll vote Roger Roots, like I just said. I sure the hell ain’t voting for Daines!
Overall I’m not happy about the whole thing, and like James Connor over at Flathead Memo said yesterday, there’s a damn good chance John Lewis is going to lose his race as well because of this fiasco. Hell, I would not be surprised if Tester is voted out in two years, just like I said on The Western World yesterday.
It’s a fucking mess, plain and simple, aint’ no two bones about it. And right now the Democrats are refusing to clean up that mess and Walsh is continuing to prance around out there, although behind closed doors this week. Well, check out this video on the weekend.
Come August 11 we’re stuck with the bastard. Most of Montana's hardworking Democrats feel exactly the same as I do and won’t vote for this clown. Rich and influential and entitled Democrats – those controlling our party – will vote for him and try to guilt trip you and I into feeling bad about this.
You go ahead and let them play those games.
- We both know that those schmucks will be out soon and this state can return to more conservative Democratic principles of saving money for tomorrow while building what we need before what we want.
- The kind of Democrat that wants to create jobs and reward people for working, not sitting on the couch collecting welfare.
- The kind that values hard work, determination, integrity and above all, honesty.
Those traits are not embodied by John Walsh (D-MT), and I’m glad he’ll be gone by January at the latest. It’s unfortunate that Montanans will have to suffer for six years after that however, but then you just remember the idiots that gave this man to us, and you remember to vote their asses right out into the private sector.
