I can almost guarantee this post will ruffle some feathers when it gets more views. It’s a long article – more than 2,000 words – and that means there’s enough to offend just about everyone.
So what’s this controversial article about? It’s called Are Nonprofits Good for Montana?
I’m sure you can tell already that it’ll cause a bit of a stir in the commenting section. I expect it will, and it’ll be interesting to watch.
I’ve commented regularly on the articles the site puts up, and generally I agree with them. I got a little guff the other day when I made a comment on another MT Cowgirl article. Some people in the comments took exception to my views on nonprofirts, and I even got an email from one.
The next day there was a concerned post on 4&20 Blackbirds, another Montana political blog. This discussed Candidate Dos and Don’ts for Social Media, and made a decent case that I won’t be elected.
All in all, a busy few days of social media marketing that may or may not benefit my political campaign.
And what if it doesn’t benefit me? Well, then I guess I don’t get elected. I’m not entrenched enough in the system where something like this will be the death of me. Instead I’ll just move on.
But I have a feeling some people might like the article, although whether they’re in my voting district is another matter altogether. In fact, I’m not sure many people in HD 98 even know about MT Cowgirl.
Oh well. You can decide for yourself. Voters already are, as absentee ballots have been out for nearly a week now. There’s just 24 days to the election – anything could happen.
