I saw Mike Dennison send the tweet out first, just when I happened to look after lunch.

What’ll be interesting to see now is how Dirk Adams plays up his prospects versus those of Amanda Curtis. Mike Dennison specifically mentions him in a subsequent tweet, and this is important – just today on KGVO Talk Back here in Missoula this morning Democratic Committee chair Dave Kendall said there’s “not a lot of chatter” on Bohlinger.
So are we down to a two-man race? James Connor does a good job pointing out some things about the Curtis video that was just released, one that has a prominent rifle in the background.
Prominent – hell, it was the first thing I noticed and couldn’t stop looking at, besides her nose ring, the clock and the photo of the woman in the lower-left corner.
Anyways, it’s close…damn close. Tomorrow’s Friday and delegates to this nominating convention’ll be riding into Helena to do the job that needs to be done. Will it go off without a hitch? Hard to say. Hard to say what’ll happen but I have a feeling it’ll be a lot more boring than people expect. I mean, how often do you stop and look at some of the legislative meetings on the public TV channels? That shit is dry.
I wouldn’t expect a whole lot different on Saturday, and hopefully we’ll have someone to get behind then. Honestly, I’ve kind of lost interest this week. Momentum has slowed as doubt has rushed forth and I think a lot more people are expecting defeat than victory. It’ll be a costly defeat, make no mistake about that, but perhaps one that allows a younger candidate to learn the ropes, or an older one to do the same.
Quite a price to pay, but at least Montana will be represented, although not to our best interests I think. Hopefully some donations can come in to whomever is the nominee and things will start looking up. Right now they’re just looking mighty uninteresting.
